Thanks to different types, our new Universal-machining centre offers the flexibility to machine different work piece sizes and types.

The structure of our HDC series was desinged, to offer you the possibility to choose from a wide variety of machine components. With this modularity you can set up a machine which is best fitted for your needs.

For the selection of the drive components our focus was set up to reach a high dynamic. Thereby a corresponding productivity for the size of the machine is guaranteed.

But if you need power, you can choose from a variaty of spindle options. In addition to cover all this machine possibilities, the concept was designed for stiffness.

Our HDC bed-type milling machines are available as follows:

6-axis-universal-machining centre HDC rotary table

Thanks to his rotating ability, the machine table serves as a wholesome NC-axis. This allows multi-sided machining with only little clamping effort. The rotary table can alternatively powerd with either a worm gear drive or a high dynamic twin drive. With his standard load capacity from up to 6 tons the rotary table can handle heavy work pieces with ease.

With a standard clamping surface from 1250mm x 1650mm the HDC offers enought space for bulky work pieces. Supplemented by a maximum interference cycle from up to ∅ 2.300mm leaves nothing to be desired.

5-axis-universal-machining centre HDC fixed table

Do you wish to add an additional machining centre to your production, which doesn´t shrink back from huge, bulky work pieces. Then the HDC machining centre with a fixed table design could fit perfectly in your concept. With available table sizes from:

2.100 mm x 1.200 mm
3.100 mm x 1.200 mm
4.000 mm x 1.200 mm

as well as additional dimensions according to customer wish and a standard load in total from up to 6 tons, this Universal-machining-centre offers all, what is needed to machine big-dimensioned work pieces. And the performance data will be complemented by a maximum interference cycle from up to ∅2.300 mm.

Because time and money are valueable resources, the time factor can be reduced with Keppler machining centres while machining work pieces. With a well thought out technology and an extended Y-traverse path from up to 2.000 mm, it is possible to mill the whole work piece till the edge of the table. So you can save unnecessary set-up time beacuse you don´t have to rotate the table or need to re-clamp the work piece.

6-axis-universal-machining centre HDC fixed table with integrated rotary table

Stiffnes and flexibility. Both properties are combined in the Keppler machining centre with a fixed- / rotary table combination.

The advantages to clamp big dimensioned work pieces is supplemented with the flexibility of a rotary table. Therefore you have the possibility to clamp smaller work pieces too, and enjoy the benefits of an additional NC-axis. So you can have savings through the loss of extra clampings.

The machine tables are executed in different sizes. The fixed table is available in the following dimensions:

2.100mm x 1.200mm
3.100mm x 1.200mm
4.000mm x 1.200mm

as well as further dimensions according to customer wish. The standard load of the fixed table is up to 6 tons.

The integrated rotary table with a size of ∅ 1.000mm and a maximum load of 4 tons offer you enough scope to choose the work pieces.

Universal-machining centre HDC 1250

Whether high dynamic milling or heavy machining, through the selection of the milling units, the HDC 1250 is universal applicable and perfectly suited for all machining tasks.

Thanks to a compact architecture and high quality axis drives, the “youngest” of the HDC series shines through accelerations from up to 5 m/s² and rapid traverse speeds from up to 50 m/min.

The thermo symmetric basic construction as well as the Y-stand and the Z-slide which are damped with mineral cast, offer excellent stiffness for a high dynamic machining and great machining quality.

With the modular machine concept you can decide to equip the HDC 1250 with either a rotary table or a full automatic 2-way pallet changer.

In either way you will have a clamping surface from up to 800mm x 800mm (pallet-changer and rotary table).
